I bought this 'set' for my teenage nieces who are now into all things 'glamorous' so thought they would have lots of fun with lots of gems , stickers etc for nail decoration. First, all items come in a postal envelope, not even wrapped in a plastic bag, so I opened the envelope and everything just fell out. Then I go through everything, and there are no tips or guides for anything, with two exceptions - one of which is nail stickers. It's pretty easy. The Stamping Nail Art pack contains several clear plastic square pieces, a roll of colored tape and a thin sheet of 10 decorative nail-shaped designs. For "Instructions" (hard not to laugh) there are 3 lines: 1) Stamp the image on the nail. 2) Finish off with a top coat. 3) Enjoy your beautiful nails. Okay, I haven't opened the packaging - I don't know if they're self-adhesive or if you need to apply a coat of varnish first; it was not explained. The design is approximately 2.5cm long - no advice on how to trim them to size or nail shape. *Also note that they are just over 1/4 inch wide. So if you are an adult they may be too narrow for your thumbs. There are no instructions on what to do with the clear rectangular pieces or how to use colored tape, nor advice on safely attaching gems and sequins. Also considering how small the gems are, it would be helpful to have tweezers in the set. Overall I was very disappointed for all of the above reasons. For all you glamor masters, this free set of treats might go with everything, but for an intended gift, it was a real disappointment.
