Review on 📷 High-Performance SIRUI DSLR Camera Tripod Ball Head: 10KG/22.05lbs Load, 360° Panning, Aluminum Build, Safety Lock, Universal Mounting Plate (B-00K) by Phillip Hoover

Just got back from a 4 day trip to Moab, Utah where I tested this little ball head. I used it on a Sirui carbon travel tripod and they complemented each other perfectly. The B-00 has a great main locking lever that is just the right size to give you good turning power and when pulled back a little from the ball head it can be adjusted and "locked" in any position to suit your to match handle. . To me, this locking lever is much better than a small knob that is difficult to tighten or loosen quickly. The ball is firmly fixed and stays in place. The TY-C10 Quick Release Mounting Plate is tiny but works great for both small and large cameras. I used it for many hours every day on a Sony RX100M7 and not a single plate came off the camera, nor a plate from the ball head. Even using a Canon 6D setup with a 100-400mm lens (quite a heavy setup) left me with no problems. The only thing I didn't like 100% was the ball head attached to the tripod. It's a little tricky to get the head tight enough so it doesn't rotate on the tripod if I accidentally rotate the camera but forget to loosen the pan lock knob. I got it tight enough, but it took more torque than I expected. Even using a Canon 6D setup with a 100-400mm lens (quite a heavy setup) left me with no problems.
