To be honest I don't know why this product gets such good reviews. The panels are connected by strips of metal, but there are no stabilizers to snap at the top of the joints like I've seen on other grips, making this grip much thinner. I zipped each connector panel to stiffen the grip and make it less flexible. Of course I don't zigzag the panels, I connect a handle to each side of the wire cage to create a play area next to the wire cage. The shape I got is more of a rectangular shape. Another issue is the spring clips to connect the pins together. There were only 3 turned on and one of them was not working properly. I actually found these clips pretty useless and re-tied the handle to the drawer. The problem is that now that I have to zip everything up, I've reduced the ability to take it apart and put it back together quickly. The biggest problem I found with this handle was in the door area. threshold, if you will. The wires protruding from the edge of this area are so sharp I was concerned my pup would hurt himself trying to jump out when the door is open. I had to carefully wrap the entire top exposed portion of the wire in thick duct tape to protect her tender belly from chafing or worse, sharp edges if she popped out with the door open. I do NOT recommend this product for the reasons stated. . I know there are better products. If I didn't need this item quickly I would choose another option or return it.
