Works great, but.: my feedback

This solved my problem of not being able to see my girl at the door and having accidents when she was a puppy, but it could use improvement:1.One ding is enough, as others have stated the repeated doorbell is annoying and unnecessary. Also, one doorbell sound is enough, I don't need long songs or crazy sounds like some weirdo people do with their phones.2. I put one on the inside and the other on the outside of the door and didn't have any adhesion problems. However.when I moved, we had a glass

Cons

Persistence, persistence, persistence!

I have had this doorbell for just under 2 months, and my dog has JUST figured out how to use it. She would hit the button on command, pretty much every time, but was just not understanding that she needed to hit it on her own. A few days back she suddenly hit the outside button on her own, we praised the crap out of her, and since then she has used it every time she wants to come in. I am glad we didn't give up on these, we just need to get her using the inside one to be let out.I knocked down…

Cons
  • It may be difficult to train dogs to use the doorbell

Annoying Ringtones in my review

I am returning this item for 2 reasons. 1 is that out of the 35 ringtones there are maybe 2 that I can stand. The rest are seriously annoying Christmas tunes, birthday tunes, and other songs I would assume were used because they’re out of copyright and therefor free to the seller in the public domain. They sound like the background noise on the original gameboy. Reason number 2 is that it resets every time it gets unplugged even just a little bit like a bump when my dog walks by and the reset…

Pros
  • Took my dog a little while to understand but she got it in a week or two! Love this
Cons
  • The receiver may malfunction after a few uses

Great Bell, Great Customer Service

I use this bell for my dogs so they can let me know when they want in and out and it works great! It is sensitive enough to pick up them pushing lightly on it and it holds up really well outside as well. The outside bell stayed really water resistant through rain, however we did end up with a small issue when snow accumulated all around the button. However, this company has great customer service, they replied promptly to my emails and worked to make things right.I'm really impressed with the…

Pros
  • Took the pup a couple days to get used to it. The product comes with a very helpful training guide.
Cons
  • Not easy to get it to ring.

My cat can work a doorknob

My cat now knows how to work a doorbell. Took a few days of associating it with treats but now she asks to go in and out with the doorbell. It has occasionally gone off on it’s own. Spooky.

Pros
  • Easy to set up and very sturdy
Cons
  • The dog bells may stop working after some time

After the dog catches on this is indispensable.

My German shepherd / lab mix caught on very quickly. We baited the pad with a dot of peanut butter, then when she licked it and rang the bell, stuffed her outside. Within a week she was using the bell by herself consistently. In 3 months, ringing the bell for attention, which she will still do sometimes but we always make her go out the door if she rings the bell. My only complaint is I can't get it to change tones from ding dong to anything else and have it stay, (so 4 stars). Its a minor…

Pros
  • Durable Design
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for certain living environments

Both Transmitters Won’t Pair

UPDATE- husband got both transmitters to pair but we can’t change the ring chime without defaulting back to the ding dong.Just received this and I can’t get the ringtone to change or both transmitters to pair. Most likely returning this and getting something else.

Pros
  • The idea of dog door bell is for training dog/pet learned to touch button when they want to go outside or back home instead of scratching barking and whining.
Cons
  • It may be challenging to replace the batteries

Hard for paws to activate, sleek design tho

It’s easy to install and move around to find good height for it. However, the paw just doesn’t always activate it. It’s loud and great to hear across the house but her paw doesn’t seem to activate it and I’m glad she’s trying to hit it but it’s been discouraging for the training for it to not work. Tho I mostly use it for my cats paws I tried it on my larger 60 pound labs paw and it was hard for him to get it to activate. Rubbing against it with the nose or fur doesn’t seem to work at all and…

Pros
  • With the included receiver and transmitters, the process of installing the doorbell is hassle-free
Cons
  • The product may be expensive compared to other training tools

So far I am loving it

Overall… The product is good… Just a couple of cons but mostly pros.Had this product for a couple of days now and here are my pros and cons. I am basing this off another doggy doorbell that I had from another company that we’ve been using for years. I’m trying to find a way to order an extra receiver in my reason for that is below.Pros-Transmitters are discrete and I like the fact that you can get them in black. The one we had previously was white and kind of stuck out like a sore thumb. It…

Pros
  • The doorbell eliminates the need for constantly checking on your pet, saving you time and effort
Cons
  • The product may not come with clear instructions

Would buy again: my feedback

First off, let me state customer service was fantastic. I thought I had a bad unit and they would have replaced immediately but.now the review.Works totally as described. We have bassets so took a bit longer to train probably than most other breeds. Why only four stars rather than five? Humidity. When it is very humid outside, or something dealing with humidity it will go off randomly. I thought I had a bad unit but over the course of a couple days I figured it out, not from the outside unit…

The best! in my review

Extremely easy to set up, just out of the package and plug in/ put on the door! Never had any problems with the sensors ( even when the dog pulls it off and chews on it or it gets caught in a rain or snow storm ( it’s water resistant)) and was super easy for the dog to learn how to use. Makes it much more convient than waiting on the dog or trying to hear him scratch at the door, and alerts both me and my boyfriend when he’s coming in or going out, which is good for safety reasons. I love this…

Pros
  • Customizable Tone: The doorbell allows you to customize the tone, making it easy for you to differentiate between different dogs
Cons
  • The doorbell may become dislodged easily

Works Most of the Time

Puppy learned to sue this to go putside pretty quickly. I love that his little nose will set it off. Unfortunately, it only seems to work about 2/3 to 3/4 of the time. Every 3rd or 4th hit doesn’t register and sometimes then several times in a row. This is with my using my hand too, so I know it isn’t that my dog isn’t making proper contact. Still, it is a very useful training tool - that would be a lot more effective, if it were consistent. It works enough for our temporary apartment needs.

Pros
  • 2 12V batteries required. (included)
Cons
  • The product may not be as effective for older dogs

Love these for my opinion

This is now my 2nd set. Gad some construction in the house and think the enormous amount is dust ruined the first one but not sure. Either way, these are great. Took my dog no more than 15 minutes to train. I no longer have to worry about letting him out. He lets me know when he needs to go (sometimes even when he is bored and just wants to go to the yard and hang out). They are loud enough so you can hear them despite being in a different floor. They are small enough where they aren’t an eye…

Pros
  • Energy Efficient: The doorbell's low power consumption ensures that it won't drain your electricity bill
Cons
  • It may be difficult to replace the receiver if it breaks

Let the training begin

We are using this to stop our dogs from scratching on the patio door. No issues with delivery, directions for use or installation.

  • The doorbell may be too large for small dogs

Great Product for potty Training

We trained our Pomeranian puppy by the age of 12 weeks to ring a bell hanging from the door. Everytime I took her out I would say lets go potty and shake the bell. It only took her a couple of days and she had it! At about a year old she got her toenail stuck in the bell and then after was afraid to bang it. I found this product on Ebay and it only took a day :) She rings it either with her nose or batting it with her paw. I placed the music box in the middle of the house and adjusted the…

Pros
  • GM03
Cons
  • It may take a long time for dogs to learn how to use the doorbell

Replacement works perfectly

Not able to pair either touchpad, so doesn't work. Followed instructions exactly. Reset and tried again, and again, and again.never responds to touching, never pairs up. Either one (got two with it).Update: was sent a replacement immediately, and it worked first time. So I have upgraded my review and I'm happy

Pros
  • The doorbell's sleek and modern design will complement any home decor
Cons
  • The doorbell may be too difficult for some dogs to press

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use for my opinion

I actually returned this one & purchased a white one instead. It was easier to see the white where we needed it. Overall though it is good item easy for my dogs to use

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The receiver may be prone to interference from other devices

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not for cold weather

Product worked well in warm weather. However, once the outside temperature dropped below freezing, the door bell froze and stopped working. It works again once it is brought in the house and warms up. It won’t be functional all winter.

Pros
  • Wireless Technology
Cons
  • The doorbell may require frequent cleaning

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This really sticks: my feedback

This is a true touch sensor without apply pressure. They touch with nose and it works! Make sure you place it where you want it the first time. it’s hard to separate from the Velcro once attached but it can be removed with effort. Truly dog proof adhesion to a glass surface. Smear peanut butter on it once and put dog nose to it each time you know they need to go out. Our 4 month puppy was trained to use it within 5 days.We had another bell that our puppy broke within 2 days as it was spring…

Pros
  • Broad Suitable Scope-3 in 1:As dog doorbell suitable for all size dogs-xsmall,small,medium or large! Also fit cat or other pets! Other two functions are used as door bell for home or as caregive page for elderly/sick patient.
Cons
  • The product may not be portable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Whose training who?

He learned to use them fairly quickly, and then he realized that he could ring the bell to get out and play. And when he wanted one of us to come out and play he would ring the bell to come in, wait until we opened the door, picked up his toy, tossed it and run off. And do not ignore the bell, because he would just lean up against it until you gave him attention. The only draw back is that we moved and there was only 1 replacement sticky, so we have to find another one so we can put them back…

Pros
  • Versatile
Cons
  • The doorbell may scare some dogs and make them hesitant to use it
