Yes, it's a bit smaller than expected and yes the chainring isn't as beefy as I'd like it to be but for the price you really can't beat this deal. It really won't cost a fortune. The cross itself is very beautiful, the silver and gold are very shiny and create a stunning contrast. I've been waiting to write this review by the way as our daughter has worn it almost like a daily staple and is still wearing it - so we're surprised and quite happy. Just don't train with it in the gym!
