This cable works perfectly. It should charge when the battery is low and turn off when the battery is fully charged. As I said, sometimes it works, sometimes not! I have an old McDodo cable that is designed to turn off the power when the battery is charging, but not designed to turn on when the battery is low. works perfectly! Revain sent me a replacement with a newer cable; but it won't work properly either. I wrote McDodo. No help!
