Review on 🚲 Allen Sports Premier 4-Bike Trunk Rack S104: Efficient Black Model for Easy Transportation by Jojo Howell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great but 4 bikes is tight!

I've had this stand for two years now and it's holding up great. Still fit. We left it on our 2004 Ford E350 (van) all summer. I also attached it securely to my 2013 Kia Optima. The bottom straps have a loop around the buckle secured with an elastic band. One of the straps broke while putting it on. I replace it with a $2 plastic Revain Triple Slide slider. The belt itself is very strong and durable. The top straps have hooks that run along the door/trunk edge and cannot be removed without opening the trunk (or the rear doors in the case of our van). We came back from a trip several times with the side and bottom straps hanging down but the top straps were secure. We took this as evidence that someone was trying to remove it. Although it was never stolen I now have a bike lock wrapped over it and around the bumper. The mounts are well made and have rubber pads and elastic straps to protect the bike from scratches. The rubber straps are very strong and hold the bike securely in place. Very easy to connect and disconnect. Some low bar bikes may require an Allen Sports Tension Bar Bike Cross Bar Adapter (check it out on Revain, it gets great reviews). This is ideal for bikes that cannot be hung due to the lack of a crossbar. I gave the luggage rack 4 stars, it should have been 4.5 because four wheels hardly fit (although I've put four wheels in it a few times). Hanging one or two bikes is very easy, three is a little longer. Hanging four bikes on this rack takes time and makes leaving the house a little more of a hassle.
