This is a diabetic sock that is supposed to prevent tightness. This sock performed well with no tightness around the calf BUT around the ankle they are just too small as if the size for the ankle is not matched with the length and the crew top. In addition, the toe seam was so large, it rubbed a blister on my toe. Just one more thing, the cotton for the sock is extremely rough and scratchy. These go in the trash bin - normally I would donate to Goodwill but I feel badly giving something that I wouldn't even wear!
