I would absolutely not recommend this heat free curling iron. It doesn't come with instructions so you need to go online and find six steps. To get curls, you need to keep it for 4-8 hours. During this time, your hair changes. I'm assuming that the two pins you place in the center will keep your twisted hair from slipping into the flat center, but that doesn't stop it. When I removed the curled hair, it fell in the middle and got tangled. I ended up having to cut the stem off and then work on getting rid of the knots in my hair. I ended up losing most of my hair because I had to trim the knots where they left off. If you're looking for a non-heat perm option, stay away from this one. I would recommend you to use traditional hair curlers because they do the same thing (wrapping your hair to get morning curls) but don't get tangled in your hair. The design is prone to knots and bugs, it's not a very good product. If I could give zero points, I would. Don't use this on your hair.
