This lamp is self-explanatory. Off on It shouldn't happen anymore. But to introduce "features" and now it's difficult and doesn't work as intended. The instructions in the box are minimal and don't make much sense. Simply pressing the button will not turn on the device. Nothing really happens and you wonder if it's actually enabled or not. Then comes the light level. On, bright, bright. But then there are warm or cold settings. So now you have no starting point. I can't set it up and have fun and then turn it off. Every time I use it I have to go through the whole process (is it on? brightness? warm or cold?). So it basically sits unused on my dresser.
