Review on 📀 Panasonic DVD-S700EP-K All Region Free DVD Player 1080p Up-Conversion with HDMI Output, Progressive Scan, USB & Remote (110V-240V) by Jason Rogness

At first I was disappointed when it was stated on the back of the device (DVD-S700) that it was only for region 2 discs (Europe + Japan) and only works from the mains 220V -240V, 50Hz system. The instruction manual seemed to confirm this and I was close to returning the device. But I took the advice of another reviewer here and gave it a try despite what was written on the device and in the instructions. I was glad IT JUST WORKED. It automatically adjusts to 110V, NTSC and Region 1 discs. And of course it played Region 2 discs too. Some reviewers here have experienced erratic results when playing DVDs on their TVs, but that could be because their DVDs - The player was preconfigured for PAL systems. The guide describes several steps required to reset the player for American NTSC TVs. The plug on the device is a round two pin plug used in the UK but it comes with a US two flat pin adapter. At first I thought my device was electrically DOA, but all I had to do was permanently install the adapter.
