Honestly I cannot recommend this pillow enough. As a person with very broad shoulders and a sore neck who also sleeps on my side, pillows have always been a problem for me. I tried a dozen different pillows to find the right one and finally found the answer. I swear by this product. It comes with six small pillows inside the case, and you can experiment until you find the right amount that works for you. For me it's four on a hard bed, three on a very soft bed, five on the floor. The fantastic thing about this pillow is that you can change it on the fly with no messy water or other custom pillow issues that I've seen. When I go on a trip, I take all my pillows with me and pull out different rooms depending on where I end up sleeping so I can travel for the first time in a long time without the over-planning I usually have to do. Perfectly comfortable and soft and my neck is doing much better these days. Everyone praises the pancake pillow.
