The description doesn't say where the strap was made so I took a chance knowing Hadley-Roma Made in the USA. You get what you pay for. The bottom of the strap is rough for your skin and the edges of the buckle are not rounded/smoothed very well, which is also uncomfortable for your wrist. Obviously inferior quality, although the "carbon fiber" pattern (which is simply pressed into the skin) looks good from a distance.
