Motion is useless, night vision is too bright, causing hotspots in images and making it difficult to see. 4k consumes too much data on the 2 tera hard drive, and the DVR will not accept a hard drive larger than 2 tera. I had an old 1080p system and it was better than this and it was a waste of money.

I don't know if I'm that unlucky, but just in case, turn on the hub before installing all the cameras. I turned it on and off while working on the camera mount. turned it back to nothing, no power. So now I have to remove all the cameras to send it back to Amazon. It wouldn't bother me too much if it wasn't for a two-sided system.

The quality of this product is really good. I had some problems at first because there were no instructions. I called the company and they emailed me a PDF brochure. I used to have a swan and have always loved their products. I didn't get a chance to play around with the features, I bought a 6TB hard drive to record all day, not just during motion detection.

We knew our business was plagued by theft and we had a CCTV system before, but we were never able to get any results from law enforcement. This camera system has paid for itself in the 6 months we've had it. Not only was theft far more common than we thought, we can also get clear images and sounds that make arrests a lot easier.
