I've been a Swann fan for many years. This should replace the NVR 8000 with 21 NHD 850 5 megapixel cameras each. This system cannot go beyond 16 cameras. These are 4k ultra cameras and the images are 3 megapixel quality. The software was almost accurate, but the face recognition and line crossing were useless. And the night vision is 75% worse compared to my old 5MP cameras. The so-called True Detect heat detection technology always recognized the rustling leaves across the yard and did not record when real people entered. I had all the cameras on the whole time because the technology was useless. And good luck on the replay. I had a case where I needed frames but there was no recording to play. And although the camera showed the recording, the system refused to play it back. It was enough for me after a week with this system. I then packed up the unusable system and sent it back. Then I reinstalled my old system which is 3 years old and has been happy ever since. I won't spend any more money on Swann. I was very grateful to be sure the system could be returned before purchasing.
