Good quality metal and looks nice on the jeep. The bad side is that the screws are where the pain is. I discarded the shorter ones that came with the kit because they didn't work in place of the originals. This leaves the original screws on the two holes on the inside of the tailgate while using the new larger screws on the outer holes. No big deal, it was just a hassle to figure out what worked and what didn't. It's stuck in there and won't move if you pull on it, so it'll work in the end.
