Telling consumers that the dashcam isn't fully functional IF you don't plug it into your car's fuse box is ridiculous for two reasons: the dashcam should work right away; Wiring to the fuse box isn't like installing a couple of AA batteries with a small screwdriver. The fact that DVR manufacturers know there is a connector that is just as easy to plug in and not use as a cigarette lighter is obscene. This OBD cable was just as easy to plug into the cigarette lighter. Get it if it works with your DVR. Now my dash cam has power when I'm driving and in parking mode. Amen.
