The description makes it sound like cotton pads are absorbent cotton pads suitable for makeup removal, but individually they are too thin to use for liquids such as makeup and toner to be used. ! I have to use at least three of these to apply the toner or the liquid will ooze out. These aren't makeup pads, they're thin one-sided squares. I would not recommend them and feel like I wasted my money
