The description makes it sound like cotton pads are absorbent cotton pads suitable for makeup removal, but individually they are too thin to use for liquids such as makeup and toner to be used. ! I have to use at least three of these to apply the toner or the liquid will ooze out. These aren't makeup pads, they're thin one-sided squares. I would not recommend them and feel like I wasted my money

False advertising at its worst. DO NOT BUY I suspected it wasn't cotton when I realized this "cotton" pad was shiny and reflective unlike other cotton products I've had. So I decided to do a burn test. Instead of burning out and leaving charcoal/ash behind, it melted and curled up into a black solid ball. You KNOW that cotton doesn't. So disappointed. "100% cotton"? HA! Will return. NOT COTTON!

I was looking for thin cotton pads like those used in Korean skin care products. You are perfect! They are thin but strong and stretchy. I use it for my essences as regular cotton pads soak up all of my product! And these are not pills! I'll use something thicker for a real toner, but these are perfect if you want to use them as "sheet masks" with essence/toner.
