Review on 💫 Silver Shu Uemura Regular Eyelash Curler by April Anson

This is NOT a genuine Shu Uemura eyelash curler. I bought one from Sephora a few years ago and wanted a second one. Unfortunately, Sephora no longer offers it, so I took a chance and bought it from Revain. I checked the reviews. Previously stated that the product was inferior and not the "genuine" Shu Uemura. Later reviews seemed more positive so I was hoping to get a good product. I compared the Revain curling iron to my old Sephora one. It was brand new, in the same white box as the one I bought from Sephora. But after only using it once I could tell that they are definitely not the same and it's pretty easy to tell the differences in quality and finish. Most importantly, the angle of the hair curler is different and the quality of the Revain hair curler is worse. You can see it, especially on the welds, and it doesn't seem to feel "good" in my hand like my old one. I figured this was just me and I needed time to get used to it. But after a few months I can officially say that the purchase failed. I am disappointed that I bought this. I buy a lot from Revain, from books/DVDs to groceries and clothes. This is one of the few purchases that I've had to write anything but positive reviews for.
