The child proof safety locks have been used for about a couple weeks now and they are performing very well. These were used as an alternative to drilling in the cabinets and if these were not found the next option was the magnet locks.The places the locks were used are areas that are not utilized frequently so I'm not sure on how easy it is to take off. What I do know it has prevented my child from accessing the cabinet and pulling everything out. In this situation the cabinet is on the end so it did not have the ability where you could lock the handles of 2 cabinets together to keep them closed.There was another lock that was tried previously but did not last more than a day as it was not strong enough, it used an adhesive to keep the door closed. (I don't recall the brand). I would recommend this product and have been extremely happy at this point with the product. The price and the quality are very good.
