Giraffes and other teethers are excellent, no problems. My 7 month old was very picky about pacifiers so I was delighted when he got this straight away. Unfortunately there is a manufacturing defect that needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Last night my husband had to cut the nipple off my poor son's thumb because he stuffed it in the hole and the suction cup kept it there. He was desperately trying to get it off and when I couldn't get it off (his screams were heartbreaking) luckily my husband jumped in to save the day with his pocket knife. There should be a pressure relief hole at the end of the pacifier tip which I believe would prevent this problem. This unfortunate incident has made me ditch all pacifiers that can get little fingers stuck in the nipple. Please consider this possible scenario for the sake of your little ones.
