Roast and Slice Best Coffee Makers

My family has a Ninja blender, we have had it for many years so we were happy to get another Ninja machine. The item arrived good enough, but the problem arose when we brewed the original water as recommended in the instructions, we do this before actual use. When I went to the sink to pour out the water, the glass portion of the carafe FALLED off the plastic. Ring, hit the sink, BROKEN into small pieces and FLUSHED BOILING WATER ON BOTH MY MOTHER AND HIMSELF. with this product. Hanging on us is my burned hand covered with a sock to hold aloe vera to heal the burn. My mother's hand was also burned and cut. We're not going to complain, but for now we just want our money back so we can buy another coffee maker from a different manufacturer. We will be in touch with the manufacturer directly to get the details. In addition to the physical damage, Ninja really violated our consumer trust by allowing faulty items to be shipped to customers. The instructions state that the system can be operated by a child from 8 years of age. This is a cause for concern as we will not allow this to happen to a child where the result could be worse than a burn or laceration. If you are looking to buy a coffee maker please look elsewhere as Ninja clearly needs better quality control for equipment other than blenders. Be careful.
