Update: I unplugged the external hard drive and plugged the tool into the correct USB port (both ports work fine so idk) and was now able to follow the steps to get it working. Then reconnect the hard drive. Additional Notes: The LED on the top left of the encoder will be green when it is running and LEDs 1 and 2 on the joystick will illuminate when timing is correct. If the synchronization is not correct, the joystick LEDs 1 and 4 will light up. The indicator shows that the wired remote control is not connected in time, but it is possible. I suspect a lag with joycons, but it works! First check: Followed the instructions several times, PS4 does not recognize inputs after syncing joycons. Clearly upset when I bought games for this functionality. I really hope for support.
