As beautiful as this item is, I would not recommend it. Because the lightbulb is on the bottom, it's not as secure as other necklaces I've seen. Even if you twist the bulb as tight as possible, it will just loosen over time. I had my best friend's ashes necklace for about a month. I wore it for a while with no problems, and then one day I went to the grocery store and came home to find the bulb had unscrewed and fallen off. I am totally and completely devastated. I've cried all day, tracking my every step, even putting this on the internet in case someone trips over a lightbulb. Vain. I will never get any part of my best friend back and I wouldn't wish that kind of pain on my worst enemy. Choose a different necklace. One that is reliable and cannot simply weaken on its own over time.
