This is a practical item. I use it for chatting when doing some cleaning like washing dishes and even vacuuming and basically the person on the other end of the line doesn't complain about excessive background noise. ALL, so make sure your phone works before you buy. I bought two, one for me and one for my parents who have a cordless phone, but I didn't realize at the time that their phone DOES NOT have a plug! The phone jack is smaller than most headphones and is specifically designed for cordless phones. Too bad all these manufacturers can't get together and make a ONE SIZE HEADPHONE JACKET! But to date, this headset works well. It has a volume control, soft ear pads conform to the head, are adjustable for all sizes, pivoting mics to fit on the left or right side of the mouth, has a good sound and the mic works reasonably well.
