Nice fan. The blades are reversible, although both sides are dark. I found a couple of holes that were too heavily threaded for the included screws to go straight through. To fully assemble it I had to use bigger screws. The adjacent screw holes were fine, which was odd. The wiring was explained very clearly. I am a 64 year old female and installed this myself in an area that used to have a fluorescent light fixture. The motor isn't heavy and is held in the ceiling mount with a clever clip so you can plug it in without help. Clearest installation guide I've seen for a ceiling fan and I've installed several.
