Suction too strong, then damage

I used this item to fix a car window when it was being repaired. couldn't remove the cup without a screwdriver to pry it off. The cup was damaged and a sticky rubber ring remained on the glass. Now the vacuum is useless and the dirty work of cleaning and scraping the window pane. definitely not recommend.
