The platform looks great, but the platform is flawed.

The platform looks great, but the platform is flawed. It's built on a bad foundation, and as a result, everything built upon it falls apart. The whole thing needs to be rebuilt from scratch, and the new one should be based on sound business principles and technology. I think this would make an excellent job board, or at least an interesting project for someone looking for something more than just another job posting site. A few things stand out right away - firstly you need to get some really good data (people who apply don't necessarily mean they will accept). Secondly there are several other ways of getting jobs posted without paying money. Thirdly if you want real traction you're probably better off building your own rather than trying to build something like this into existing social networks such as Facebook or LinkedIn.
