The design is terrible. There are 3 very small screws around the perimeter that need to be removed to insert the batteries. It was painful to put them back in place and I consider myself quite skilled. I'm sure I'll be disappointed when the time comes to replace them. The product is designed in such a way that you need to fully extend your arm to attach it to the wall on the left side. I used my own wall anchors because I knew the ones provided wouldn't hold up. If you don't accurately measure the distance between the two holes in the base, you're going to have trouble. So when you buy this, measure and draw a level line between the two anchors. It would probably be nice if you had someone to hold the mirror while you tighten the screws. Seriously, this shouldn't be two people's work, but it's so inconvenient! I would encourage this company to come back and change this design. The wall mount should be separated from the base like a towel rail or other bathroom fixtures. It looks like nobody tested this design before the release of this product. I don't know how long it will last as I've just purchased this product but I have a feeling if I move it too much it will detach from the wall, despite using much stronger anchors than the one supplied .
