I usually use water based face paints but wanted to try oil based paints. I've tried them several times and have come to the conclusion that they don't work for me. They take a long time to dry, so if you want to apply a different color to an existing one, you'll have to wait a bit. Also, they are more difficult to use. It's hard to get a straight line. The brushes are also difficult to clean. I had to use Dawn soap, which is understandable as it's oil based. The only thing I really didn't like was that the lighter colors aren't opaque. When applied, they don't show well. On the other hand, the darker colors were great. I was able to easily remove the color with makeup remover. I would not recommend this for children. Colors don't dry fast enough. All in all, this product is not for me.
