Advantages, disadvantages and advantages of the Surface Pro 7 (HR).

Pros: • Finally USB-C! As a former Surface Pro user, this feature was never there. Now with USB-C, just like any computer, you can do so much more with this device, from headphones to connecting external 4K monitors, charging this and other devices (USB-C chargers are 10 times cheaper) and even connecting an Ethernet adapters . .• This is a very sellable car. I have no issues with flex, the frame feels solid and overall I felt like I could toss it in my bag without worrying. Not light for an iPad, but enough so you don't have to worry about bending it. • The microphone installed on the Pro is a major upgrade. My parents' Skype calls were crisp and clear indoors with the TV on and the volume turned up. Internet video is what it is. , but the microphone setup is fine • Cortana is listening to you pretty well. I'm learning Spanish, so I translate simple questions myself, from English to Spanish, Cortana is way better than Alexa or Google Assistant. There were also questions about directions, weather etc. • Great display. The screen is bright, with an excellent balance between saturation and color, and offers ambient light detection when it gets dark. If you go to the settings you can change them to a specific time or they will automatically adjust as the sun goes down in your area. • Microsoft has mastered the stand for it. Numerous ranges of all angels and even quite stable when on his knees. • microSD card reader (for extended storage option) • Headphone jack. I think this feature is a must if you want to edit videos on this device. • A solid state drive (SDD) for a tablet is one of the best things. If you have to choose, always choose an SSD, regardless of storage size. Faster, cooler and • Charges super fast. From 0 to 50% it took about 45-50 minutes. Please note that I used the included charging cables. Don't expect the same results when using a different manufacturer's tablet • Lots of power for a tablet. Inside is an Ice Lake processor. In summary, it has smaller transistors, which means that multitasking is not a problem. On the first try with about 10 apps running (Madden, Netflix, Live Maps, Grand Trims Mo, etc.) the machine had no lags or hiccups. The effect of this chip will be greatly appreciated in the next 2 years after you receive this tablet. • The processor enables the use of Wi-Fi 6 on this tablet. This area is still new, but within the next year this tablet will already be upgraded at the hardware level. This means faster upload and download speeds. • The speakers send sound straight to my face. When Spotify is on, I have decent sound quality. With rock and country I got a very balanced sound and a lot of power in the volume. Pretty good for the average listener. Not iPad par, but still good for the list • I see the benefit of the 3:2 screen for those who want to read, show notes and view documents at work. Not many tablets can do this without sacrificing quality. Personally, I didn't see anything superfluous with this Surface. Cons and Pros: • Bulky frame. Stick to the times of Microsoft, this is not to be missed in 2019. It's very thick, and rivals offer bezels at or close to them, which is a serious downside (not to mention Microsoft has a Surface Pro X itself). with a design that is noticeably smaller around the edge (why not this one?) • The edge issue makes the tablet look 2 years older than it is due to the screen size • Last year's model and this one are 99% the same design. Remove the USB-C connector and it will be 100% the same. Very dated design as I think Microsoft poured all their money into the internals and just forgot about the redesign. • Battery life is not excellent. I have about 8 hours work. This is with always-on WiFi, web browsing, daily YouTube gaming, and a few hours of Netflix (plus a few small apps). It can last all day if you manage the power and screen, but that's far from what Microsoft says. • Don't take it outside on a sunny day. Sunlight is too strong for such a bright display. • Surface keyboard and pen sold separately. I haven't tested them as you only get a tablet. • While USB-C is great, we already live in a USB 3.1 world. No Thunderbolt 3 either (fast file transfer). I wish Microsoft had put more effort into the exterior design than the hardware on this machine. • I had no trouble playing this Overwatch, but forgot about it when trying to play Call of Duty. It's not for deep gaming and playing Overwatch ate a decent chunk of the battery. Bottom line: If you're looking to buy this, you'll at least need to invest in a keyboard cover. It's disappointing that to fully experience your Pro you have to spend money on the keyboard and pen. In my experience, you're pretty limited without a keyboard. I've been using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but portability is limited if you can't connect it to a Surface Pro. Additionally, we live in an era where laptops, tablets, and phones are trying to achieve the goal of frameless design. . I have the previous model in my hands and I can't tell them apart. With these new 2019 laptops/tablets, the bezels on this device make it look like this tablet is from 2017. I'm also annoyed that Microsoft hasn't at least tried to improve the design. But if you can get over the design (and the batteries), you know that Microsoft has poured all its money into what's inside the system. Of the new nuclear processors, this tablet is a beast. I found it very fast, reliable and will last 2+ years. For me, that's the beauty of the Surface Pro: a PC the size of a tablet. I've always been a PC fan and it works like having a laptop on my lap, which an iPad can't. If you can put up with the usual bezel look and shell out for your keyboard, you've got a computer monster that fits in a tablet. Overall: A dated design with plenty of power for those who want more, an all-around tablet for on the go. I hope I helped you. With love, honest reviewer
