In response to a request from the carrier, I had to point out a reviewer who indicated that it was difficult to get a snug fit with Drew's Velcro. Besides that. As a completely flat footed person who uses arch supports, I have found that the velcro often does not fit well due to the velcro slipping. In short, I think I was wrong, although otherwise the shoes are quite high quality.
