The shoes are very nice but the buckle stick upwards so your child my stick themselves or the parents when your carrying them. I got them for my granddaughter to wear for my son’s college graduation ceremony in DC so what we did was remove the buckle for her safety, luckily the buckle is just for show because the shoes have Velcro. She had to wear them for the weeks ceremonies and other outings while in DC so I guess I can’t return them. But if I could I would. The buckle is not needed so they should just make them with out it.
