A quick word on the method of application. While I am at work during the day, there is also construction going on outside the window and repairs being done in the neighboring homes. Noise pollution is decent. Music is not something that particularly fascinates me; I much like listening to online lessons and reading comfortable books instead. In other words, they are an absolute prerequisite for effective attention. I didn't try any other ANC headphones, so I won't make any comparisons here. However, based on what I've read online and what my friends have told me, I'm going to assume that these are the best headphones in the world (there is no reason to doubt). Before making a purchase, I rented a pair of headphones to see if I could even work with them constantly and to gauge how essential they are. I purchased some straightforward headphones at 31dB from a hardware store, and it appears that the going rate is 716. The most expensive headphones of this type cost between $1500 and $2220, and they offer a "cut" of 35-36 dB as well as a little bit more comfort. Already I've used construction materials for three to four weeks, and Bose headphones for just two days. Certainly, working at a building site is less comfortable, it gives off a non-metrosexual vibe, and you can't brag about your skills in front of hipsters and girls. Yet I've already gotten used to the "inconveniences," even though it's possible to get confused trying to discover ones that are more comfortable. The takeaway from this is that if you need headphones for similar purposes (blocking maximum external noise without the use of multimedia), then good headphones with passive noise reduction give comparable, and in some cases even more effective results (for instance, I tested noise suppression from Zhukov Avenue from the balcony of the house, passive cuts off its better, while Bose for some reason lets it through almost untouched), and a natural result, which is approximately 25 times cheaper. I only desired for this information to be made available to anybody and everyone who so desires. It should be noted that this does not imply that Bose is 25 times worse; rather, it merely indicates that each option has its own set of benefits; in my experience, the end outcome is equivalent under certain settings.
