The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I have external batteries on my cameras, their adapters protect the outgoing cable, but you still need to be careful when transporting. I took it to "protect" the HDMI connector in the camera, in fact, due to the length of the connector, the protection is nominal, it will rather save from loosening the connector.

Pros

In theory, it helps to keep the connector in the camera, allows you to use an HDMI cable (m), is attached to the cage.

Cons

When the connector is plugged into the camera, the cable extends beyond the dimensions of the cage (Sony A6500/6400), which may break the connector in the camera. I changed the mount of the device, moved it from the cage to the battery adapter.
