I've been using the 3M Adjustable Vertical Laptop Stand (LX550) for about a year and a half and absolutely love it! I write a lot on my laptop, actually that much. that I use mine with a separate small mouse as well as a small ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard. I soon found a better way to work with these appendages because not only did my neck start to hurt when I looked down at the screen, but having to put my separate keyboard in front of the laptop's standard keyboard meant the laptop couldn't was even further away, which made the screen appear smaller in contrast. As a solution to these problems I bought this laptop stand and am very glad I did. The stand itself is rubberized and fits my 15.6" laptop snugly. The stand has 3 inches of height adjustment range, so you can easily adjust it to your ideal height and angle. Three inches might not sound like a lot, but since that elevates and tilts your entire laptop, for me it meant the screen is a good 9 inches or more higher than when it's lying flat on a table, meaning I can view it straight forward rather than down and my neck hurts after long typing sessions. The stand is very small and compact and doesn't take up much space at all. It has a non-slip base that keeps the stand (and laptop) securely in place. My laptop feels incredibly stable on this stand and apart from some cables or something I don't feel like it's going anywhere it's black and gray my only criticism of this laptop stand The other thing is that it's really hard to fold up for travel. It's small (8.6 x 6.2 x 8 inches) and certainly light, but it can't be easily folded and thrown in a bag, so I prefer to use it at home than on the go. Laptop Stand (LX550) and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart way to elevate their laptop to raise the screen to a more convenient monitor height.
