After spending some time researching the use of UV light to sterilize germs, one thing became clear to me: It works! There are many small objects that I touch during the day that are difficult to sterilize, e.g. B. my phone and my car keys, so I'm glad to have the opportunity to try it and see if it's worth buying. After a few days of use I found the following: WARNING. Since the flashlight operates with the lid open, a prominent warning notice should be provided to remind the user of the potential hazards of UV 254nm exposure, particularly to the eyes. Either that or a switch will need to be installed to turn off the light when the lid is open. Safety concerns aside, here's what I like about it: โข Uses 253.7nm UV light, which is deadly to germs. โข Takes only 3 minutes to disinfect everything that fits in the box โข Lightweight but well made โข No childcare required. I can put my things in a box, push a button and do what I have to do. โข I can sterilize more than one item at a time, e.g. B. Car keys and small change. โข My Samsung Galaxy Note 8 case is just over 6-1/2 inches long and fits. โข The aromatherapy function is a nice feature. I sterilized the sleep mask and then added a drop of B076KQWYFQ essential oil before hitting the incense button. I made this in the afternoon and it still had a nice aroma before I went to bed. Overall, I'm quite happy with most aspects of this device, but I can't recommend this device due to easily avoidable security issues.
