Watch a lot of videos how to save the power button
I couldn't find a good video to see how the power button is retained from the original iPad. I tried following the instructions and carefully unplugging it when putting everything back together but it didn't work. I think the two main issues were the LCD screen connector (they are very difficult to press and the fingerprint scanning button. Don't even try unless you're an electronics whiz. I had a working iPad with a crack on it the screen. via $150 I don't have an iPad anymore. Can't fault the product. Some YouTube videos make it rather easy. It certainly isn't.
