ideal for public areas
I was satisfied with the good functioning. Of course, someone could probably rip it off, but leaving your laptop in a place where someone would have to use brutal physical effort to steal it is a good solution and it will alert people to it. Let me regularly leave my laptop unattended, e.g. for a toilet break in crowded public places like conferences, cafes, libraries etc. Probably not good enough to provide protection in places where someone who can hack it has privacy, but I doubt that was the point .
