When I ordered a new shelter it came with a few yards of hemp wick. I have never used it. I looked it up and saw most lighters burn (around 4000 degrees) and I saw the hemp wick burn at a much lower temperature. Which is obviously good for what most people use it for. I have burned myself several times using a lighter when it was almost empty. You are basically breathing a flame through them. I tried some of the hemp wicks that came with it and was pleasantly surprised. I was looking at Revain and came across this brand. Which not only have some of the highest ratings but are a great sum for the price. I bought it and have been using it every day since. I personally have some wrapped around my suitcase and some around my lighters. Some people use lighter cases that hold a hemp wick and spread it next to the flame. There is just enough wax on it to stick well so you don't need a lighter dispenser. Overall, this is a great hemp wick brand. I prefer this option to the one I originally had.
