Much better than a standard snowball or black and yellow SKILZ. I use them to give to my 12 year old at home. They collapse easily, so if you don't hit the center, they collapse. If you hit them squarely, they'll explode instantly, but at a much shorter distance compared to regular whiffle balls, so you won't be chasing them everywhere. The good thing about their weight is that I can throw hard and probably get hardball-like speed at shorter distances. If I have one complaint it's the random placement of the holes on the ball. I'm having a hard time finding two perfectly spaced holes for a 2-butt step or even a turn that kids are more likely to see at a young age these days.
