I have a collection of knee pads, some very expensive. Nothing compares to this bracket. I seem to be one of those lucky (sarcasm, that's it) people whose legs curve outwards instead of inwards with age. Combine this with pronated ankles and life becomes painful. Enter this knee brace. Metal loops on the sides hold my knee from side to side so I can run longer, work etc. and even put it on when I start doing something and find my knee is starting to hurt. I can also take it off when I'm done so I don't have to strip completely or take off my leggings. The design just makes sense and the braces just work. I bought one for my daughter who has had knee problems since she was 13. She went to Zumba and loved it. Her knee didn't bother her at all and she didn't have to wear it the next day.
