Has a fleece lining that extends past the separation of the bodice from the main part of the mitten. When you turn the top over to expose your fingers, the fleece covers most of your hand. With the top covering the toes, the fleece keeps the cold out where the top and body meet. The quality of the knitwear is excellent. One gripe: you can't turn the top of a mitten inside while you're wearing it if the button is in the buttonhole. The button is too small to operate with bare fingers only. I just leave the button open all the time.
