Not good, but not the worst either.

So where do I start. So I bought this case (p805) because the one I had before wasn't very good. Saw this one and thought, hey, that's pretty painful. I thought it was a lot more than it was. While this is probably my fault, the seller probably has sizing I could look at. Either way, things are looking good. But when it comes to building, oh my lord. This thing is terrible to embed. Hardly any space for cables. It says there is support for the cooler. In fact, however, this is almost not the case. The top of the case in the photos is a metal panel with airflow cutouts. In fact (to me at least) the cutouts are actually bent metal, allowing less than a millimeter of space for air passage. However, the front end has pretty good airflow. On the front there is a power button, an LED button, a headphone and microphone jack, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB 3.0 port. Now there is an additional USB 3.0 port. It is clearly marked. But there is nothing. But for me it's normal, I didn't need it. Kind of sucks, but it's okay I guess. Now to the situation with the drive. I had no idea where to put the disks. I've looked everywhere. No disc grills or the like. But I noticed small clippings. A big hole and a small hole forming something like a figure eight. The bolt pack contained bolts that were thin on the bottom and thick on the top. So I assumed you attach screws to the drive, put it in the big hole, and put it in the small hole. Which doesn't really protect the drive, but I probably did it wrong. In general I wouldn't say this is a terrible case. I've seen far worse. But this case isn't worth the $73 I paid. At least not in my eyes. Maybe it would be if it had more space for cables and other things. Should I buy this case? Well I think it's up to you. I would still say yes because it looks pretty sick and while it has some downsides it still works well. So if you don't like any of the things I mentioned, I don't think you should buy it. But if the cons don't bother you, then go for it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
