Keyboard backlight disappears too quickly

There are over 2000 reviews here, most of them are glowing and I agree with the great key feel and body protection. This review focuses on a "major" design flaw that I didn't notice. I write a lot of emails and documents in the dark, in bed, where I can't afford to light up the whole room. You start typing and the backlit keys light up. You pause to think about what to say next, and in less than 3 seconds the backlight turns off. It's dark in here, so you won't see any buttons to continue typing. Yes, if you press any key, e.g. B. the space bar, it lights up again. Now imagine typing a long letter, pausing between the lines to think about your next thoughts. You have to press a key in the stony darkness many times for each letter you write. If you press the spacebar, you have to press backspace each time to get rid of the extra space. So naturally you're looking for a setting to slightly increase the backlight time. Surely Logitech should have included such an obvious need. Heck, they're called Logi-tech, just like Logical. nope Nada nothing. I was told it is to save battery power. Has the meaning. But 3 seconds? How about a user selectable range, e.g. B. 3 to 60 seconds. Is it the same as the auto lock setting on iPhone/iPad? Which is also set to save battery, but which user can set it to 15 minutes? Back to the drawing board, non-Logi-Tech!
