The glass, or bulb part is not Red like it shows in the picture, it’s actually clear/white, like a normal bulb. When I opened the package I was upset that they sent me the wrong bulbs, but after noticing the packaging said "red” on the side, I tried one out to find out they are basically light pink bulbs. Replaced an 11 year old tree which was extremely heavy and did not have led lights. It was a nightmare of electrical connections. I am getting older and having back issues so this should save me some pain in setting it up and putting it away and having only 3 connectors it is so easy to hook up. These socks were just what I was looking for. The blend of materials keeps my feet warm and dry. These socks are comfortable, and easy to get on. Some wool/wool blend socks have so little stretch it takes a lot of pulling and tugging just to get them on. These pull on very easily.
