Old neighborhood and old pipes. We've just put up with bad water for years. So as part of a full revamp of our house's plumbing we added the iSpring 3-stage system and we're really happy with it. Funny story, we had a very squeaky faucet and I thought after the filter install I would take it apart and clean it up so it wouldn't squeak anymore. It leaks between the canisters, and the first stage sediment filter doesn't fit the canisters, even after it's wet it's still too short for the canisters and the water flows right around it, what a joke, iSpring did have good reliable products but now made in China.Update, went ahead and disassembled the unit adding more teflon seal tape and tighten the loose fitting put all back together and I be a son-of-a-gun it the other joint between the stage 2 and 3 started leaking.

Update 2.7.22. These filter housings are the worst I have ever installed. It took 3 attempts to stop the leakage from the female threaded housing. I used triple-thick Teflon tape and T2 Dope reinforced with fibers. I wrapped the triple thick tape 7 times and then applied a thick layer of pipe dope (the best they make of both). Let it sit for a few hours (though not required) and installed the 3 filter housings. Turned on the water and dang two of them leaked (though slightly). I tightened them…

I ordered this for healthier water and as a prerequisite to installing a tankless water heater. Everything went OK with the install except for a small, slow leak at the 3/4” NPT inlet fitting. I contacted Nick at iSpring and explained the situation and iSpring sent out a new filter head assembly quickly. No leaks this time and the unit works as designed. Would buy again.

The fittings leak , should come with molded fitting so you can glue pipe in . I have replaced fittings twice already and the molded plastic in the unit stinks . No Matter how much pipe dope or pipe tape is used .

There’s not a lot of variety for filter options and it’s difficult to find locally. The 10” filter would have been better in hindsight.

As you can see by the rust spots on the floor the middle red pressure release valve has been leaking. The next Clear 10 x 4.5 housing is GEEKPURE has NOT failed me! The next Blue 10 x 4.5 housing is from SimPure has been leaking and being returned. Last but not least Isprint 200mg Iron catcher leaks from the bottom valve as you can see from the rust. The filters that are to "remove rust - being returned are SIMPURE SEDIMENT AND CARBON REPLACEMENT FILTERS. Absolute JUNK! GEEKPURE IS WORKING…

The filter was pretty easy to install. Sweating the copper to make it fit was the hard part since this unit takes up considerably more space than the simple bulb filter I had. I like how easy it is to change the filter units. Sean was helpful in getting the registration in place.

Fittings leaked right from the factory. I now have to remove the hole system and completely disassemble the unit to fix the leaks.

Hello, this was a very easy water filter to install. Only giving four stars because it failed to come with a gasket on one of the filter housings, allowing water to escape upon start-up. Overall, very well put together and easy to install assembly. Brian was great in customer service providing replacements for install.

Thank you John at iSpring for your assistance. I have tried several water filters and this is the first one that works. It has eliminated the bad odor from the water supply. Refreshing showers clean water in the dish washer and washing machine. Fresh and clean water at the sink and all without a reduction in water pressure. No need to purchase expensive bottled water. It’s fresh at the faucet.

Our city water is drinkable already. However, adding this to a section of our plumbing has eliminated all our plastic water bottle purchases and added the ability to have clean drinking water from tap, refrigerator, and ice. Love it and pretty universal size filters so not required to get these specific filters at markup.

I bought it for my well water to filter a clean water for my family. Kitchen & Bath Fixtures. It was working great and very easy to installed it.

I had major rust problems, my fixtures were all red. This product fixed it. I've been a licenced plumber since 1984. Best filtration system I've ever seen. I did put a backup pre filter 50 micron that is a back flush to enhance the first filter life. Works like a champ.

Our water always tastes and smells like chlorine. Ordered this unit because I purchased another iSpring product and was very happy with it. Definitely use extra sealing tape and/or paste sealant. I actually used both. The mounting bracket seemed to be bent and the canisters were up against the wall instead of hanging straight. Bent the bracket and all is well.
