Our water always tastes and smells like chlorine. Ordered this unit because I purchased another iSpring product and was very happy with it. Definitely use extra sealing tape and/or paste sealant. I actually used both. The mounting bracket seemed to be bent and the canisters were up against the wall instead of hanging straight. Bent the bracket and all is well. There was an immediate huge improvement in the smell and taste of the water. No more chlorine! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it did require more than normal sealant and the bent mounting bracket. Reviews seem to show both of these issues have happened to others.
