The new Directv receivers only allow you to use one TV per set. With VECOAX MINIMOD-2 you can connect other TVs to the same Directv receiver. I have TVs all over the house, garage and workshop. I can connect them all to one receiver and not miss a single program while working around the house and around the house. Good product! It's a bit expensive but very convenient. It was easy to set up, just follow the instructions. I DO NOT LIKE IT! In order to keep my HDMI for my main TV, I also had to buy a 1-input, 2-out HDMI switch.
